Paris, July 14th, 2024. Christophe Nuttall, former Director for innovative partnership at UNDP and the first CEO of Catalytic Finance Foundation from 2012 to 2021 received the Legion of Honour on the 14th of July as a recognition of his achievements with the Foundation, and his overall career dedicated to a more sustainable world.

Dr Nuttall, in 2011, co-founded R20- regions of Climate Action (now catalytic finance with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Governor of California in 2011 and other national and regional climate leaders with the support of former UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon.

The Legion of Honor is the highest French order of merit, both military and civil. Established by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1802, it recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding service to France, regardless of their nationality. Dr Nuttall was nominated within the corpus of the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
